BLOCKED HYDRAULIC COUPLING ГПБ570

    The hydraulic coupling ГПБ570 is designed for operation in the drive units of scraper conveyers, equipped with two-speed electric motors instead of SET type couplings for connecting shafts of the electric motor and the reduction gear that are employed nowadays.


  •     The hydraulic coupling ГПБ570 consists of two parts: a hydraulic coupling and a friction clutch. The conveyer is accelerated in standard mode of the SN2 station with the hydraulic coupling being locked which at this period works in the mode of a rigid connecting coupling.
  •     After 5-7 seconds after the conveyer reaches the operating speed (the driving electric motor speed being 1500 r.p.m.) the coupling gets unlocked and passes into the hydraulic coupling mode which provides:
    1. Protection of the electric motor and the drive (and this means the whole machine) against static loads.
    2. Protection of the reduction gear and the whole machine against overloads, arising at urgent jamming of the hauling member.
    3. Reduction of torque oscillations.
    4. Distribution of load among drive units in multi-drive machines.

        The coupling is mounted in the following way:

    1. Panel with the hydraulic cylinder and a pressure bearing unit is fixed on the electric motor flange.
    2. A semi-coupling with the locking mechanism is mounted on n the electric motor shaft.
    3. The hydraulic coupling is installed on the reduction gear box shaft.
    4. The electric motor with units (see items 1, 2) is connected via a spacer to the reduction gear box.
